Legacy Academy Suwanee Dam has been granted the prestigious Southern Association of Colleges and School’s (SACS) accreditation for its early childcare program.
Legacy Academy Suwanee Dam has been granted the prestigious AdvancED School System Accreditation from the AdvancED Accreditation Commission, the national commission that confers the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) accreditation seal. This means that Legacy Academy Suwanee Dam is recognized across the nation as a quality school system for its early childcare program.
“The SACs accreditation process examines the whole institution—the programs, the cultural context, the community of stakeholders,” says Sam Poyan, MBA – Owner/Director of Legacy Academy Suwanee Dam. “The accreditation provides a huge benefit to parents who value the smaller child-to-teacher ratio and individualized learning for Pre-K, Kindergarteners and first-grade students.”
The accreditation process involves three ongoing components: 1) meeting high quality standards; 2) implementing a continuous process of improvement; and 3) engaging in quality assurance through internal and external review. The system’s accreditation is for a five year term with regular monitoring of progress and reporting occurring during the term.
